Incident Description: The Universal Adapter (UA) website was not accessible.
Time Range:
· Start: 9:07 PM, Aug 27, 2025 (CST)
· End: 10:25 PM, Aug 27, 2025 (CST)
Impact:
· 66 Integration Error TXNs (failed due to calling the UA API). Team already reprocessed the failed transactions.
· TrueAuto customers could not connect to ua.dicentral.com to exchange data during this time
Initial Cause:
· The DNS records of UA (ua.dicentral.com & uaapi.dicentral.com) were pointing to the wrong IP address
Actions Taken:
• Monitoring team received an alert from Monitoring system regarding website downtime at 9:13 PM, Aug 27, 2025 (CST). • After analyzing the alert and performing initial checks, System Operation team triggered an incident call with the relevant teams (IT, Technical Fellow). • IT fixed the issue by adjusting the DNS records and pointing them back to the proper IP address at 10:35 PM CST.
