Following the implementation of our latest DiFiller application certificate at 10:00 PM CST on May 15, 2026, we received reports from a portion of customers that EDI documents could no longer be opened.
Our team promptly investigated the issue and identified that, in some cases, Windows security settings may automatically block the installation of the new certificate as part of its security protection measures.
At this time, we have identified two possible scenarios:
If you receive a Windows security warning “Windows protected your PC“ and “Don’t run“, please click "More info" and then select "Run anyway". This will allow the DiFiller certificate to be installed properly on your computer.
2. Error message "Application cannot be started. Please contact your vendor"
If you encounter this error, please locate your 2.0 folder and delete it entirely. Once removed, relaunch the application to allow the required files and certificate to reinstall automatically.
Your 2.0 folder can typically be found at:
C:\Users\[your_user_name]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
